About a year ago I decided it was time to update my web site and "get modern". I looked at several CMSs and was not impressed by any of them, all were so bloated with "features" that they sucked server resources or just plain sucked, so I wrote my own. N8cms is really simple, it is easy to set up (run setup.php and fill in the form), easy to add/admin users, keeps e-mail addresses hidden and spam free. All data for each page is stored in a MySql database for easy transfer/backup. The most important thing is it`s FREE, fast, and it works without all the features, just a simple fast web site. I have it hosted on a LAMP server (Linux,Apache,Php,Mysql) but use Easyphp on a WinXP machine for development.
