AmpJuke is a program that runs on Linux using Apache, MySQL and PHP. AmpJuke streams music files (stored in MP3, OGG, WMA and/or APE format) to one or more clients using the HTTP-protocol. You either play music right away or build a "queue" of tracks to be played and/or merge albums, performers, tracks, favorites into the existing queue. AmpJuke focuses on flexible, easy navigation as well as speed (all music isn`t just stored in one table...). Features include: * Scanning and import of music stored in the MP3, OGG, WMA and/or APE format. * Lists with: Track, Album, Performer, Year and Favorites (lists can be sorted by f.ex. Performer, Year, Track Name, Album, Last Played etc.). * Search. * Random play (based on all tracks, range of years, favorite list or queued). * Simple administration. * Multiple languages. * Automatic retrieval of album/cover art.
